My passion for languages: Translating for my family early on, I understood languages offer opportunity, growth, connection and more. And as an educator specializing in adult language learning, I have thought hard about the users and the pieces that are fundamental to speaking a language. I have been dedicated to figuring out how to support someone's deep learning while also having empathy, humor, and fun. For those curious about credentials, in 2022 I completed my master's degree in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology at Harvard University. And most recently, I have worked with research teams at the Harvard Project on Workforce and Macmillan Learning. Outside of work, I enjoy being in nature (e. g. near the ocean, the mountains, yoga at the beach), visiting family (both in the US and Mexico) and expressing my creative side.
