About Anna

I come from a very close-knit family. I have three siblings, several cousins, along with two sets of grandparents that have been together for over 50 years. My freshman year of high school my paternal grandparents moved in with my family. My grandmother having only one leg and my grandfather had dementia. I was able to help take care of them after school and when school wasn't in session. I have always had a passion for helping and taking care of others, and that's when I decided I wanted to become a CNA. I became certified in January of 2014 and immediately started working overnights at a nursing home in my hometown. I absolutely adored all of my residents and always loved watching their faces light up as I would walk into the room. Working with the elderly truly filled me with happiness knowing I was able to give them the same care my grandparents received while living with our family. I believe it takes a special person to connect with elderly, and I have what it takes.
