I am a licensed teacher in Ohio in the areas of Spanish (K-12), ESL (K-12) and as an Elementary Generalist Grades PreK-5. The majority of my teaching career has been spent in grades K-3 with a focus on reading development, building mathematic and reading skills, and bilingual education. It is my goal to make learning meaningful to each child and grow his or her confidence. Currently, I am pursuing another life long goal of becoming a Registered Nurse and am seeking to continue teaching and encouraging students as well as provide for myself through nursing school. I enjoy being active in my church, entertaining my 10 nieces and nephews, spending time outside, and knitting!
