I have been working with children for well over 20 years. I started babysitting while in high school and shortly after got a job as a camp counselor. I would stay with a group of girls, between the ages of 10 and 12 years old, for a week at a time. I did that for over five years. I have also worked with children ages 3 and up during the summer at a summer camp. I have nieces and nephews I have babysat since they were newborns. I have worked as a live-in nanny for over three years. They were 2 years old and a newborn when I started. I also have done child care at my church twice a week. I was preschool teacher, working with children ages 2 through 5 years of age. I did that for over 4 years. I then worked at a high school as a Paraeducator (special education) for 4 years before transferring to become am elementary school Librarian. I have my certification in Early Childhood Development.
