About Anna

I've been tutoring for years and gained my CRLA certification through my work as a tutor in the Ancell Commons Business Center at Western Connecticut State University. I have experience tutoring children in all elementary subjects and specialize in reading and writing. At the middle and high school level, I specialize in tutoring in humanities courses and essay writing. I worked in my high school writing center as well as in my college's business school with students of all backgrounds and learning styles. I am patient, adaptable, and organized. I like to let students take the lead and play an active role in their tutoring sessions. I strive to build students' confidence and self-esteem as much as I do to improve their academic performance.
