About Anita

Growing up, I would assist my grandma in her home health visits and I had my mom, who is an RN, to look up to. Helping those in need is all I know - I'm currently studying towards a PTA certification. Through school, I've been working as a CNA for over four years now. My first year was spent in a skilled-nursing facility and I fell in love with my job immediately. Though it pained me to leave my residents, I really wanted to exercise all of my job skills so I transferred to a hospital and have been here ever since. I am familiar with preforming EKGs, chest compressions, daily activity assistance, and taking vital signs. Due to the amount of different illnesses I have seen, I have a keen eye for a patient who just isn't sounding or looking right. I have a lot of experience with dementia/Alzheimer's - both violent and pleasantly confused. I view all of my patients like family and treat them as such. *I'm open to 12 hour shifts & over night shifts/visits
