Hi! I'm Anita, I am 19 years old and have my Associates degree in Liberal Arts with extra credits in early childhood education. I'm currently a student in university halfway to my Bachelors degree in social work. I have one year of experience working in a private school for children with special needs, and hope to focus my career as a behavioral counselor in schools. I worked as both a one-to-one aid for a high school student, and a classroom assistant for the primary classroom with ages 6-8. The students I worked with ranged in support needs from low-support needs to hands on/high intervention. I'm a strong believer in compassionate care. I'm eager to expand my experience and passionate about this line of work! P. S. I'm mostly taking 'as-needed' or 'one-time' jobs at the moment, as I have another job, pre-scheduled families, and college classes! I'm happy to be a number in the roster to cover date nights, errand runs, etc!
