About Anita

Hi! I'm Anita, I am 19 years old and have my Associates degree in Liberal Arts with extra credits in early childhood education. I'm currently a student in university halfway to my Bachelors degree in social work. I'm in the process of achieving a CPR certification. I have one year of experience working in a private school for children with special needs, and hope to focus my career as a behavioral counselor in schools. I worked as both a one-to-one aid for a high school student, and a classroom assistant for the primary classroom with ages 6-8. The students I worked with ranged in support needs, with some students using communication boards, some getting support for behavioral outbursts, some with academic support needs, and some students with needs for restricted environments (such as separated lessons or individual behavior support). I'm eager to expand my experience and passionate about this line of work. I look forward to supporting your family in whatever ways I can!
