When I accept the role of a Senior Caregiver, my patient(s) become a family member. I do more than just assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing). I am there to help them in any which way I can to make their lives easier without all the extra itemized costs. Some of these responsibilities include, light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, errands, medication preparation/distribution, blood pressure and heart rate daily readings, communication with the visiting Physical and Occupational Therapists, Doctors, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse etc., provide daily updates on patient's status, light exercising/movement as well as cognitive stimulation through puzzles, word finds, and games. I have experience with Dementia and Parkinson's. The time I have with my patient(s) is true quality time. References upon request.
