About Anita

I am a retired college professor (English). I loved teaching and would like to stay in touch with the learning process. (And make some money :) My schedule is flexible. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, curious, friendly. I started tutoring when I was in grad school, many years ago! Since then I have run a writing center and trained tutors, as well as volunteered after school. In my spare time, I like to read, play with my dogs, garden. (We are remodeling our house and sloooowly changing the yard.) One thing you should know about me is I am really sensitive to cigarette smoke. My skills include listening, finding different approaches, getting excited (it's contagious!)
