My journey into caregiving was inspired by my positive experiences as a camp counselor/afterschool teacher and the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young ones. I believe in fostering a patient, calm, and creative atmosphere where children can learn, explore, and grow. With my friendly and approachable nature, I easily connect with kids and build strong relationships based on trust and respect. Communication is key, and I ensure parents stay informed about their child's day through verbal updates at pickup, regular texts, or phone calls, depending on their preference. When it comes to household rules, I firmly believe in following the parents' lead, as consistency is vital for a child's development. I relish playing board games and puzzles with kids, as they not only provide entertainment but enrich.
