Angie is a wonderful person and attentive care-giver. Our 11-month-old adores her and our whole family feels lucky to have met her. Angie began caring for our son just as we moved to Long Island. She brought ease to the process of unpacking and settling into a new home at a developmental moment in which our son was especially anxious about being apart from his momma, for even one second. Angie was more than happy to jump in and help us with cleaning and organizing our home, laundry and other tasks, in addition to being present and engaged with our son. Even though he was going through so many changes and had stranger anxiety, he very quickly warmed up to her. He has developed a great bond with her, which is evident in how happy he is when she is with him, and how well he naps when she rocks him to sleep. We hope she will continue with us part-time but we also believe she will very soon find a very lucky family who offers full-time or better hours than we are currently able to offer.
