I started fostering youth with diabetes 5 years ago in my home. I am background checked and trained with the state. I do not have a foster child at this time in May 2024. I have raised 3 of my own kids and nannied for 7 families. I have an Executive asst. attitude with some fun charisma. I currently work pt with a 6 mo old girl in Covington 12-5 p.m. 4 days a week and I am looking for a position taking care of children, housekeeping, house manager, pickup, drop off, play dates / activities, caregiver, pet sitting, and cooking. I am available for your family now. I am flexible and interested in what you have to offer. I usually charge $25-50 per hour for childcare or home managing and cleaning. I setup a phone interview with Angie and she sounded great over the phone. She sounds qualified and has had experience with children. I wanted to meet her in person so we setup a meeting for the next day at noon. While on my way to the meeting, Angie texted me 20 mins before noon to let me know she wouldn't be coming. Her reason was that she needed to make a certain amount of money a week. I was shocked since her and I had not yet discussed compensation but she assumed numbers in her head. I'm taking a star away as I thought cancelling an interview last minute based on information she did not have was not professional on her part.
