I have previously worked in a special needs daycare with children ranging from 8 months to 5 years of age for almost two years. I was an assistant teacher in the pre K room and also a van aide for the school supervising and transporting children to and from home and special trips. I was able to work with many different disorders and diagnoses from autism, down syndrome, mild retardation, fetal alcohol syndrome, speech delays, seizures, and many other physical/mental disorders and developmental delays.
