We interviewed and hired Angelica as an after school nanny for our children. She worked for us for 1 week and did a great job. When I checked in with her at the end of her first week, she expressed no concerns or complaints. However, I suddenly received an email from her on Saturday informing me that she would not be coming on Monday and would no longer be working for us due to "a better offer." No further explanation was provided. While we had no complaints about the care she provided to our children, she did not provide us with advance notice of her desire to leave the position and left us in a huge pinch as we were depending on her to pick up our children from daycare and stay with them until we returned home from work.
