My caregiving skills, definitely stem from my mother, when my father was sick and dying, she never left his side and went above and beyond for him every day. She also has cared for special-needs children over the years, hospice, patients, and elderly. Over the course of the past seven years, I have also done the same along with nannying, there's not much that I'm not comfortable with when it comes to caring for someone who needs help. This isn't something that I do for the money I wholeheartedly and genuinely love being a caregiver. I've cared for a family friend for years named Joey who has brain damage and is in a wheelchair. I have also babysat reoccurringly for a 12-year-old boy who was mobile but diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Another young boy I babysit on and off for years for date nights was high on the autism spectrum. I am comfortable administering medication, changing them, guiding them through their emotions, and honestly anything else that they may need.
