About Angelica

As the eldest of 11 children, I have a lot experience caring for children. Aside from caring for my younger siblings, I have worked at numerous day care and after-school programs, as well as volunteered at nursing and rehabilitation centers. As a mom of three with two daughters with a primary diagnosis of Autism (one severe and nonverbal, age 11, and one high functioning, age 9), I understand the dedication that is required to care for such children and am sensitive to the support that their parents/caretakers may need. I also have experience working with children of other exceptionalities, as I have worked in both resource and self-contained classrooms. I have Bachelors degrees in Sociology, Special Education, and Elementary Education and am almost complete with a Master's program in Divergent Learning.
