About Angelica

My interest in assisting seniors began at the age of 13. My great grandmother was 92 years of age. Our entire family was involved in caring for her. Everyone had a responsibility and I was amazed to see how everyone contributed in her care. I learned so much from helping and watching others help too. Since then, I have always enjoy helping others. I have experience from working with children to the seniors. In 2002, I worked for an agency that placed me in a temporary nursing home where I was responsible for a whole section of 7 residents. I gain experience in working with seniors with various health issues, disabilities and challenges. The more I interacted with them, the more interested I became in working in this field. In 2002 I attended a CNA program. The agency I worked for, continue to place me in different assignments. In 2004 I worked with patients with terminal cancer. In 2008 I graduated from Westwood College as a Medical Assistant. I have continued to work in the home care field assisting the seniors. I assist them based on their individualized necessities; cooking, cleaning, bathing, transportation, etc. I am always ready to assist.
