About Angela

I have always enjoyed spending time with the seniors in my life, and they seem to enjoy being around me. I'm a patient, listening ear and easy laugher at jokes. Puzzles, cards, conversation and just being together --out and about or at home-- are my jam. I'm a good cook and I'm comfortable navigating dietary restrictions. I started caring for seniors as a teenager, visiting with grandparents and being a help around the house. I have cared for my own mother after several surgeries and after my own father following his wife's death and current cancer diagnosis, similar with my in-laws before their deaths. I know what it's like to be in your shoes, looking for someone reliable and trustworthy -- who your person will also respond positively to! -- so that you can relax a little when you can't be there. I would be honored to be part of your family's care plan. My skills/attributes include patience; genuine care for others; and the ability to generate calm, positive energy in myself.
