Newborn Care! I've been a childcare provider for over 30 years, and a private nanny for the last 12. I operated an in-home daycare for many years, and have experienced the joy of caring for many children, at all stages of life. My preference is newborn and infant care, as I believe having an experienced, knowledgeable caregiver is essential for maintaining the health and happiness of a newborn or infant. Especially for newborns, experience is of the utmost importance. As such, I am looking for a position that will last between the child's birth and no longer than 2 years, or sooner if the child will be entering daycare. I am certified in child and infant care and first aid, and have completed the 30 hours of childcare training required by Washington state. I have passed a background check, and have excellent references. I speak only the bare basics of Spanish, and will happily share my knowledge with your child, as well as some infant sign language.
