Hello my name is Angela, I have been an LPN for 25 years. I've also been a severe profound special ed teacher for 15 years. Eight years ago I took a break from being a classroom teacher and went into more detailed care. My passion is caring for others and helping people in their families. I interviewed and hired Angela as an In-School Paraprofessional for my son. She accepted the position and communicated initially and completed all the paperwork with the school. She knew that my son had not been in school for 3-weeks because we were in need of an in-school aide. However, on the first day that she was supposed to start working, she suddenly came down with the flu for a week. Then she promised she would start the following week. However, she stopped communicating altogether with me the just days before she was supposed to start again. She left us in a lurch with no Para going into my son's 4th week off from school. She did not communicate to say she was no longer interested in the position so that I could search for someone else. She just did not show up for work. I would not recommend Angela for hire.
