About Angela

Angela has watched our twin toddlers, (boy/girl) since January of2023, and has been nothing short of exceptional. As I write this now on February 18th, 2024 they're approximately 2.5 years in age, we're a dual language household (English/Mandarin), and alternate between her care and supervision, as well as sending them to preschool here in Bedford, New Hampshire. Sometimes you don't know what great is, until you've experienced "good," and that really is the case here with Angela. Prior to her helping us, our previous nanny had several years of experience, a degree in early childhood development, and even worked with a variety of at-risk youth in the general Manchester metro area - however the difference was night and day. I'd hate to put words ni Angela's mouth, but from our family's perspective this isn't just a job for her, but rather a career - she's doing this for more than just a paycheck. To speak to specifics, as we were looking to replace Angela's predecessors we interviewed multiple nannies who flouted their tenure, knowledge in the space, or passion for children; frankly most of this all fell short as we silently observed how our children interacted with other candidates - Angela immediately was able to build a genuine wholesome connection with both of our children, and has continued to strengthen and refine this week over week. She's gained the trust of our whole family by being extremely responsible, thoughtful, dependable, and again going the extra mile without even the slightest suggestion from our family. On many occasions out of the kindness of her own heart she's brought art supplies for the children to play with, or maybe clothing of their favorite animal/superhero, or done dress up with costumes all of which she's paid for out of her own pocket. Unfortunately the world we live in these days, safety is a constant concern and priority for al families; when Angela takes our children to the park, YMCA, or indoor playground our family's mind is at ease knowing her sound judgment, risk aversion, and overall responsibility that she takes seriously. Frankly I could go on and on with a variety of anecdotes, and am more than happy to speak to any specifics in greater detail or answer any questions/concerns you might have while reviewing her candidacy. If we weren't relocating out of state we'd plan on working with her for the foreseeable future.
