I am available for tutoring in person/online or to support virtual learning. My availability windows are M-F 8:00-10:00 a.m. and potentially some evening hours. Ideally, I'm looking to tutor 4-6 hours a week. I am a certified Florida teacher with over 15 years of teaching and childcare experience. I have an elementary K-8 teaching certification with endorsements in language arts and educational technology. I taught elementary school for five years (third grade, fourth grade, and K-5 computers) and served in teacher education at a university-based School of Education for six years. I am currently an Instructional Learning Specialist. I have great relational capacity with people of all ages. I have experience teaching young children, teenagers, young adults, and adults. I have multiple references available upon request. I am also the mother of a 4-year-old and 6-year-old, but they would not be present for tutoring.

Where can I start??? I LOVE ALL THINGS ABOUT MISS ANGELA! I was in the middle of Covid crisis and attempting to homeschool my 3 older kids (12, 9, 7) and keep my 2 year old happy and entertained while doing so. I felt my kids school work was suffering and was nervous about keeping them up to speed to enter the next grade in the fall back at school, Covid or not. So I called in for reinforcements! Miss Angela showed up, with a mask on, and was so respectful of our home and health needs, and then blew all of my expectations for our educational needs out of the water! My kids took to her right away. She is SO organized, SO knowledgeable, and very creative. She not only brought my kids up to speed, esp my oldest in math and algebra, but all three of them ended up 1 to 2 grade levels ahead of their actual placement. Yes, they are naturally bright, but with proper teaching, such as from Miss Angela NOT MOM, they soared! I highly recommend inviting Miss Angela to your home if you need help.
