Experienced pet owner and lover. I've had four dogs and three cats of my own for over 23 years. My experience is with smaller dogs but I would take a calm well behaved larger dog. My dogs have passed. There are two cats in my home. I'm retired and home most of the time. I watch cat friendly dogs in my home overnight. I have also taken in kittens while owner was unable to take right away. They're treated like my own. They have a huge kitchen with a custom bench to look outside if I'm out running an errand. They sit in my lap and sleep on my bed. Fenced in yard. I also will go to a local home to feed and tend to pets if needed. References available.
