My work experience as a Senior Caregiver included: light housekeeping, laundry, medication, eye drops, shopping and all meal preparation, as well as bathing. My patient and friend was an 88 year old woman with loss of vision and used a walker and had anxiety and the beginning of dementia. I am CPR trained, and have a lot of compassion and patience with the elderly. In the nice weather, I took her out to the park and also daily walks for exercise. I took her to all her doctor appointments as well as outings she enjoyed. She lived in a Senior building and attended Bingo and Social Activities but needed the companionship and aid to go.

I have known Angela for about 35 years, she lived across the street from me. When I got married and had my daughter, and I had to go back to work, Angela watched her for me, and my daughter loved her, she never wanted her to leave. Angela always had my daughter entertained and fed and diaper changed. I had peace of mind every time I left for work. Angela not only watched my daughter she also took care of my Aunt Alice. She would bathe, dress, made sure she had her medication, cleaned her house, went shopping for her and was a great companion to her. My Aunt loved when Angela was there helping her. Angela is a kind and down to earth person and fun to be with.
