I am a certified teacher who just relocated to California. I am experienced in working with all emergent learners, including those with learning differences. I have a Masters in Elementary Education and currently work as a education consultant while pursuing my love of writing educational picture books. In my tenure as a teacher I worked with students along the spectrum, with ADHD/ADD, and students with learning differences. I don't like to call them 'disabilities' because all students learn differently and can succeed given the needed supports.
