My journey with music led me to Nashville, my love for children, and my obsession with music and how it affects the brain landed me a position working with a child who suffered from a brain injury. What I learned from that experience was life-changing. I have six years of experience working with families doing private childcare, specifically working with children with special needs. In the Spring of 2019, I went on a mission trip to Honduras, where I taught music and STEM to elementary and middle-school students. I then briefly taught ESL online before accepting a position as an early preschool teacher at Primrose School of Nashville Midtown. Those experiences led me to my journey towards a Masters of Education at Lipscomb University. In January 2020 I left my position as an early preschool teacher for maternity leave. I have enjoyed time with my little one at home, but I am also excited to get back to work.

Angela was our full time nanny for 1 year then continued to nanny for us part time for 2 more years. To say we adore her is an understatement. We are a challenging family (4 kids - 1 with severe special needs, 1 with a strong will : ) and twins) and she showed up with a smile on her face every day and an amazing amount of energy. She went above and beyond to connect with our child that has special needs. She was responsible, organized and she can cook too! We love Angela and any family would be lucky to have her.
