About Angela

Hello, I'm Angela! I'm a 33-year-old special education math teacher for a local virtual school. I'm hoping to find tutoring and/or childcare opportunities that don't conflict with my teaching schedule, but I am open to figuring out solutions for scheduling necessities! I like working with kids because their constant, genuine curiosity reminds me of how scary and exciting the world around us is when we don't understand it. I started working with kids when I was a sophomore, and it made me discover a passion for working with children and a talent for behavior management and explaining challenging concepts. 14 years later, I'm now on year 11 teaching in public schools and I can't imagine doing anything else! In my spare time, I like to roller skate, read, enjoy the outdoors! One thing you should know about me is that I have a lot of experience working with school-aged children with a wide variety of needs, interests, abilities, and challenges.
