About Anel

As a paraeducator in the Elk Grove Unified School District, I have experience working with students with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental and physical challenges. I provided one-on-one support, assisting with mobility, communication, and adaptive learning strategies to ensure students could fully participate in classroom activities. I worked closely with teachers and therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs), incorporating assistive technology, sensory supports, and structured routines tailored to each student's needs. My role also included helping with personal care, behavior management, and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where students felt empowered, engaged, and valued in their learning journey.
