I have two 90-year-old grandmothers, and one of my favorite parts of each week is calling them to have a chat. They live far away from me, so I don't get to see them as often as I would like. When I do see them, we usually just talk for hours. I understand that other elderly people in my communities also may not be able to see their families often or at all, so I would love to bridge the gap by being there to spend time with them. I have my own transportation and a flexible schedule, and I am delighted to talk, play games, take walks, or watch TV with a new friend. I can also provide transportation to and from medical appointments or other destinations.
