About Andria

Hello, my name is Andria, I'm 37 years old. I've worked for an Alzheimer's nursing home for 2 years. I enjoy carving for others as I did for my great grand mother who inspired me to start caring for the elderly. I pride myself on my ability to connect with others. Elderly don't like to be considered old and helpless. Their self-esteem decreases the more they are incapable of doing things. I like to help them grow past that and enjoy the here and now and look on the bright side of everything. I enjoy playing games and puzzles, going for walks, and even just watching the clouds float by. I've cooked, cleaned, bathed, fed, and lifted people in and out of beds, showers, and chairs. I've washed clothes and soiled linens and diapers. I kept schedules and made appointments. I love to help.
