Beginning as a child, I have been paid small amounts to pet sit and take care of friends and relatives' dogs and sometimes cats off and on. I am now 37 years old and have a M. A. Degree and am starting a new career. I have been the primary caretaker for our family's elderly dog for the last 5 years of her life and the subsequent puppy/current dog for the first 2 years of its life. I have worked with dog trainers and vet clinics in this process. I am only offering dog/cat care services for about 1 hour at a time. I'd describe my personality as calm, grounded, critical thinker, cooperative. I like working with animals because it is something that is necessary and feels fulfilling to me. I'm looking for a job that only includes an hour or so of walking/caretaking at a time. I'm available from 9a-2 p.m. ish on Sunday through Friday In my spare time, I am a family man. Administering medicine, food, water, Love, play, cleaning messes, walking, training as per instructions.
