My childcare background started 15+ years ago as a stay at home dad with my newborn son and 3-year-old daughter. The next 3 years I began volunteering at my daughter's school full time. I spent so much time volunteering at the school that l applied for a position as a classroom instructional aide. I then worked in kindergarten classrooms at Sahuarita Unified School District for 9+ years. In September 2021 I began to nanny for a family and watch their 14-month-old daughter full time. I proceeded to do this until August 2024, when the girl started school full-time. I am currently working, and have been since June 2023, as a play expert at a drop off child care center. There I am caring for children aged 1-10.
