About Andrew

My name is Andrew and I have been a caregiver for two children on the autism spectrum for the past 4 years. Before that, I spent 4 years as a special education paraprofessional. I worked in a Multiple Needs program assisting students with low-incidence disabilities such as Down syndrome, Autism, Fragile X syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. All of the students in that program communicated using augmented communication devices either independently or with assistance. I enjoy running, baseball, basketball, and camping in my free time. My fiancée and I are in the process of moving to Holland from Illinois, and I am looking for a reliable summer job opportunity such as this one.
