As a teenager I started volunteering at an animal shelter in New Hampshire walking and working with the dogs that were ready for adoption. I also spent time and socialized with the cats and small animals there. From there my love for animals just grew. I have owned a few different lizards some small animals including guinea pigs gerbils hamsters and rabbits. I have owned in the past dogs of all sizes from chihuahua mixed up to a mastiff! I currently live with a German shepherd husky mix that my roommates own, but I have been the one to care for him and pay for all of his things that he needs since I moved in with them. I have been a dedicated volunteer at the Sheboygan county human society since June working with the dogs! I work with all the dogs including the ones that have some behavioral issues. I am classified as a level three walker which means I am allowed to walk any dog that is up for adoption regardless of behavior issues.
