Hello! Does your child need that extra push to take off with reading, writing, or English? As a Dean's List college student- and much more importantly, a book worm- I know better than most how exciting, yet, challenging the English endeavor can be. I love to work with kids of all ages to help achieve their literary goals; to show them that reading and writing aren't boring, but deeply exciting tasks! Having dealt with AD/HD while growing up, I understand how difficult it can be and am prepared to provide comprehensive steps to getting through school work (whether your child has AD/HD or not). Additionally, I am a practicing artist and currently attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for tableaux photography. I have a rich background in art history and fine arts.

I hired my son a tutor, as with COVID-19, he was struggling a bit academically. I was unsure if a tutor would work in getting him get back on track, but felt like we had to start somewhere. From the get go-Andrew showed up with complete professionalism and integrity, willing to help in any way that he could. Andrew is not only a good "teacher", he is also a good "person". Because of this, my son was engaged, and felt confident, not only in his successes but in his ability to ask for help when he needed it. Andrew is charismatic, patient, kind, and is willing to think outside the box to ensure his lessons are understood. He was consistent, and highly communicative with my husband and I, regarding my sons progress. He was articulate and honest in all the ways that matter. I recommend Andrew a million times over. He has been an amazing addition to my sons academic support system.
