Shirley is a William Paterson University alumna with a double major in Sociology Social Services and Psychology. She truly upholds the code of ethics derived from the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. She is willing to learn, open to new ideas and receives constructive feedback. She has an innate drive to help others, works to create progressive policy changes and asks questions that further drives existing research. Shirley has dedicated countless hours serving underserved populations, specifically those impacted by incarceration and addiction. She is dedicated to the mission, has worked in direct client care and has served as an administrative assistant. Shirley has also learned how mezzo, macro, and micro social work come together to create movement and radical change. Shirley brings drive and passion that is both professional, awe-inspiring and very much needed to help those impacted by trauma.
