Andreia is hands-down the best caregiver we've ever had. She has taken care of both my 5-year-old daughter and my 1-year-old daughter, and was amazing with both of them. She could jump right in and play pretend with my 5-year-old, but was also extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and detail-oriented with my 1-year-old baby. My baby was a preemie and was very challenging in many ways; therefore, I was always nervous that no caregiver could ever effectively handle all she needed. But after only a couple days with Andreia I felt like a weight had been lifted, as I completely trusted her and it was obvious she knew what she was doing. She helped do many things that I could not even master with my own child. Within a day, she had her cruising along the couch, which I had previously struggled to get her to do. She tried lots of different ways and subtle nuances to try to improve my baby's picky eating. Andriea always kept my baby on schedule with naps, meals, etc. She had tons of great advice and suggestions; it was invaluable to have someone to collaborate with in trying to overcome my daughter's challenges. And ultimately she would always abide by my wishes first and foremost. In addition to taking wonderful care of my daughters, Andreia managed to get a tone of chores down in the short time whiel my baby napped. She seamlessly picked up a recipe I provided and whipped up a great new dish for my baby (that the rest of us often enjoyed as well!). She would proactively make different foods for my baby to try during her journey of starting solids. She somehow also managed to do laundry, organize clothes for storage, tidy up my kitchen, do the dishes, and anything else I requested. Perhaps the best thing of all is her warm, friendly, genuine personality. Andreia is truly a good person with a kind heart. My entire family was genuinely heartbroken when we knew it came time for her to move away from the area. The next family she works for is extremely lucky, as they will quickly discover! She is a wonderful caregiver, person, and friend.
