About Andrea

I have been a part-time nanny for the last six years with a family of five children who are all now in school. I taught in public schools for 20 years and have experience with a wide range of children. My mother ran a daycare in our home, so I have been around kids all my life, and love to spend time with all ages from infants to teenagers. In addition, I have a master's degree in education, majoring in Spanish with minors in psychology, history, computers, and child development. Patience is my major strength, along with a sense of humor and a caring personality. I can also provide transportation and light housekeeping, such as laundry, sweeping and fixing simple meals and snacks. My specialty is creating engaging educational activities for all ages, especially preschool-aged children eager to learn. I am excited for a new opportunity and look forward to hearing from you.
