About Andrea

I'd describe my personality as youthful, empathetic, and kind. I started babysitting my cousins and throughout my teenage years my client base expanded through their neighborhood. I then went to college and studied psychology with an emphasis on child development and cultural psychology. I held jobs as a teacher assistant and a residential treatment counselor at a children's home that supported children in foster care. I learned a lot about how to manage children with emotional and physical needs while providing life skills. There, I was organizing activities, meals, and school work. Once I finished school, I did a Disney internship where I got to make magic for families and it inspired me to stay in the industry. I like to play tennis, read, play video games, do crafts, play with my yorkie, and watch movies. I enjoy planning activities and being an involved caregiver. I am the type of person who will show interest in the things your child loves and participate with them.
