About Andrea

I love teaching children new things like science, math, and history and having them come back to show me what they have learned. My goal is to help the children I encounter to reach their cognitive and social-emotional milestones. When I can present an activity that will touch on every single developmental stage to help advance the children I care for means more to me than anything in the world. I recently graduated with my second degree in early childhood education. This has allowed me to go beyond just hands on experience. Reading to children is something I enjoy doing. My favorite book is the magic possum it is both educational and exciting. Reading allows for one on one, and group bonding time and also expands the child's or children's vocabulary. This gives you as a caregiver the opportunity to teach new words and give examples that will stick so the child remembers. I have worked with children from birth to elementary school age. I genuinely care about every child I encounter.
