I have been a social service worker for over 17 years serving children, adults, and aging adults. I enjoy pets of all breeds and am comfortable being around animals in your home. I have 3 dogs of my own (Blue Heeler, Golden Retriever, and a Chihuahua who runs the show.) I moved to California from MN in September, 2023. While in MN I started working with older adults in their homes after work and on weekends after my grandparents shared their struggle with trying to find safe, reliable support when they needed some extra hands following a surgery. Their situation enlightened me to a greater need overall, in that many of our aging adults don't have the in-home support they need to recover or maintain in their own residence. I'd like to be a support to help folks stay in their homes while accessing the care they need.
