As a young adult, I have 25 years of experience with several different age groups. I started babysitting at 10 years of age with family friends, which lead to many other family circles. My career as a nanny started in Encinitas, California in 2012. I have experience caring for newborns, toddlers, young children, and teens and am comfortable with multiple children and/or twins. All of my previous, long term families have been new parents, so communication and flexibility with the transition of a new baby come easy to me. I am currently with a family part-time with 2 children (age 7 and 4 months). Previously, I was with a family for 2 years (2 under 2). I am hoping to incorporate a new family into my schedule for date nights, sporadic care, and/or weekend hours. I enjoy being outdoors, reading/singing, facilitating age appropriate crafts, sensory activites, teaching sign language, mindfulness and anything to keep a young child's imagination engaged.

Andrea has been our nanny for 6 months and we couldn't have been happier with her. She is amazing with our daughter (I swear she is a baby whisperer) and she has been such a wonderful addition to our home. She is always very flexible and spends so much time playing with the baby and working on her development. As our daughter reached different milestones, she would take initiative to research online different things to do with babies to help them learn and grow. She has become a part of our family and we are sad that she is leaving the area. My husband and I would recommend her to anyone and your children will be lucky to have such a loving, patient caregiver.
