About Andrea

Hello! I am a hardworking, dependable, loving mother of 3 daughters who attend SLU. I have held jobs as Nanny, Early Childhood Lead/Co-Teacher/Teacher Assistant, and Special Education Teacher's Aide. Reasons I enjoy working with children include caring for, nurturing, and educating them; helping children to reach developmental milestones in a safe, clean, loving environment; showing them our amazing world through a variety of indoor/outdoor activities/experiences; giving children opportunities to learn independence and a healthy view of self; getting on a child's level and seeing the world through their eyes. My top three childcare skills are attention/commitment to safety, health, well-being; willingness to/experience in providing varied indoor/outdoor activities/experiences/ample playtime to enhance growth, learning, development; setting children up for success, bringing empathy, energy, fun, and laughter to interactions while remaining firm r. e. rules/expectations.
