About Andrea

I retired early, in 2020, due to Covid as well as the fact that my son and his wife were due to be having a baby in Tucson and I wanted to be nearby. During my 26 years teaching high school and middle school the one thing I kept in mind most was to think about my own son being around an adult all day, five days a week, and treating my students with the kindness and compassion and patience that I would want him to have been treated with. I have spent a whole lot of time around a whole lot of middle schoolers in the not so distant past, so am extremely comfortable and capable of relating to 11 to 13-year-olds in particular. I'd be happy to provide any sort of homework help as well. I am healthy, smoke-free, energetic and positive, as well as entirely dependable, punctual, and responsible.
