I am an experienced nanny with a background in caring for children from newborns to teens. I helped take care of my siblings at a young age, babysat as a teen, and worked professionally as a full-time, private nanny as a young adult. Now with two children of my own, I am taking the time to stay home with them. So, I am open to having another child (or two) to care for, along with our 3-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy in our home. My approach in parenting/child care includes social and life skill learning with emphasis on educational activities involving colors, numbers/math, and reading. We are Christian-led and strive to maintain a "low-tox" home, using non-toxic cleaners and homemade meals/snacks. Gentle discipline with calm communication and re-direction on their level works best for us. Please reach out with any questions. Andrea began taking care of our daughter when she was 5 weeks old and has been our full time nanny ever since then. Our daughter is always very happy to see Andrea. Andrea helped immensely in getting her on a schedule, including naps and meals at a predictable time every day. She has transitioned from feeding her a bottle to now feeding solid foods. We feel very safe with Andrea caring for our baby and know that she will be actively teaching her on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Andrea to care for your children, and would especially recommend her for young children and infants.
