About Andrea

With a deep-rooted compassion for senior citizens, I have dedicated much of my time and effort to supporting those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and complex health needs. Throughout high school, I volunteered at a local assisted living facility where my mother served as the dementia unit coordinator. My role focused on being a companion for individuals facing cognitive challenges, providing comfort and familiarity in their daily routines. In addition to my volunteer work, I also cared for an elderly woman with various health conditions, managing medication, transportation, meals, and companionship with dedication. My journey in caregiving also extended to my own family, helping my grandmother care for my grandfather during his battle with dementia and supporting him until hospice stepped in. With patience, kindness, and profound respect for our seniors, I am committed to enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals and honoring their dignity and experiences.
