About Andrea

I have always loved children. I am also extremely passionate about education and teaching children. I have been baby-sitting since I was 12 years old and was given a lot of responsibility at a young age. When I was in high school, I was a Nanny for a family with four children. It was a great experience where I learned many valuable life skills (eg. cooking, laundry, ironing, managing multiple schedules, patience, unconditional love etc.). In college I had the chance to live abroad in Santiago, Chile where I gained fluency in Spanish and had the opportunity to teach ESL classes to children. In college, I took several education classes and graduated from the University of Washington in international studies. I recently completed a teacher certification program to become a certified Montessori teacher. I am currently teaching children ages 6-9 at Eton School in Bellevue, WA.
