Although I don't have any formal certificates or training in nursing care, I have over 10 years of experience in the hospital and physician office setting utilizing my formal training as an ultrasound technologist. I have experience in the emergent and clinical setting, where I often provide nursing like duties in order to assist the RN to ensure patient care and safety are at the forefront. I'm CPR certified and have a degree in applied sciences and Allied health. I'm comfortable taking vitals, dispensing medications, giving injections, scheduling appointments, transportation, and light housekeeping, etc. I have excellent time management skills and adapt easily into any situation. I'm also comfortable providing some basic meal prep. Some of my hobbies include reading, puzzles, bike riding, and spending time with my animals.

Initially, Andrea seemed like an excellent candidate for an in-home caregiver for my mother. She was very responsive to communications, and we scheduled a phone interview. However, midway through the call, we were disconnected. After that, Andrea became completely unresponsive. I sent texts, called her, and reached out on Care.com, but received no response despite seeing that she read the messages. Her lack of consideration and professionalism in not even informing me of her disinterest in the position is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not consider or recommend her for hire. Her behavior was highly inconsiderate and unprofessional, earning her a "0" in my book on all counts.
