About Andrea

Hi! I'm Andrea and I love babies and toddlers! I'd describe myself as outgoing, fun, and active! I like working with kids because each day is a different adventure! I love seeing them learn and grow from one week to the next. I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring my baby along and is flexible. I started working with kids when I was 17, volunteering in a kindergarten class. Since then I've worked in two childcare centers, a middle school, high school, dance studios, a ski school, and have 5 of my own children! In my spare time, I like to climb, hike and ski. My skills include teaching age appropriate skills (ie colors, animal sounds, gross and fine motor skills, etc), staying calm under pressure, and being willing to get out and make fun happen! I also have experience and promote baby lead weaning if the family is interested. I like to sing, make art, and go places with the kids I care for! I look forward to hearing from you and seeing if I'm a good fit for your family!
